What times do you open?
Gates open from around 10am (Arcades and Family Centres) with Limited Rides available from approx 12pm onwards (weekdays) and All Rides available 11am (weekends and bank holidays) weather permitting. We always advise visitors to call us on 0191 4561617 to check ride availability and opening times on the day of your visit to avoid any possible disappointment. Do I need to Pay to Enter the Park?
No, Ocean Beach Pleasure Park is FREE to enter and you only need to Pay when you want to play on any of our rides.

How much does a ticket or token cost?
A single ride token costs 50p each, but you can take advantage of our Ride Discounts such as our £25 for £15 offer (purchase £25 worth of tokens and pay only £15) which works out that you only pay 30p per token. To receive your £25 for £15 offer voucher register here

How do I purchase tickets for the Rides.
Each ride accepts tokens, you can purchase your ride tokens from token booths throughout the Park or from the Cashiers desk within the Middle Arcade within Ocean Beach Pleasure Park.

How much does it cost to go on each ride?
Each ride accepts a different number of tokens per ride, but on average a childs or kiddies ride accepts 2-3 tokens per ride, where other rides may accept 3-4 tokens per ride. Click Here to view our ride token guide.

How can I pay for my tickets?
Ocean Beach Pleasure Park accept cash as well as credit and debit card payment.

Can I book my Wristbands and Tickets in advance through the website?
Yes, all you need to do is visit our Park Opening Times Page and choose the day you want to purchase your Tickets or Wristbands for. You will then be asked to provide the number and type of tickets you wish to buy. After you have chosen your Tickets or Wristbands you will be asked to enter your Name and Address details so that we can process your order. Once you have provided your Personal Details you will then be asked to review and pay for your order.

Can you tell me the nearest Metro station?
Your nearest Metro station is South Shields, we are approx 15mins walk from South Shields town centre.You can also board the E1 bus from just outside the South Shields metro station.
