Ocean Beach Pleasure Park has a great selection of *rides and this Summer there are some additions to satisfy the region's thrill seekers.
As well as the usual stomach churners the park has some fantastic new rides for the summer season including Freak Out, Crazy Frog, Power Surge, and the fantastic Booster Ride. Also new for 2007 is the amazing new interactive game The Ghost Hunt, with high quality visuals, the aim of the game is to shoot as many ghosts as you can in spooky surroundings to score points.
New for kiddies with an appetite for rides is the Roto Up! This raises the kiddies nearly 20 feet, and then spins them whilst in the air, a great way to keep them quiet for the rest of the day! Ride the Rotor this Summer and you may find yourself in a sticky situation, your aim is try to keep your feet on the ground!
Attractions
If you want to take the day a little bit easier there are options for those that like to relax.
As the weather gets warmer why not take a stroll along the seafront or if you like the water you could hire a pedal boat and take a trip down the Marine Park boating lake (just opposite Ocean Beach Pleasure Park). Boats are available to hire but children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.Little ones are again catered for with a miniature train ride around the lake, so they can be involved in all the action.
Prices
The rides at ocean beach operate on a token based system.
The amount of tokens required on each ride vary, this is dependant on the size of the ride, for example larger rides such as the dodgems and waltzer require 4-5 tokens per ride, per person whereas toddler rides such as the mini swings and baby bugs require 2-3 tokens per ride, per person.
We do have some attractions on site which require up to 8 tokens such as the go karts.
Single tokens cost 50p each, therefore taking advantage of the £25 for £15 offer is great as single tokens work out at a cost of 30p each only. Further discounts can be discussed for large pre booked group bookings.
Admission into the park is free!!
