Our fantastic ice skating rink with real ice returns to Ocean Beach until 5 January 2025 providing visitors with an authentic and unforgettable skating experience!
CLOSED 21st & 22nd December due to Weather Warnings of high wind speeds. Re-open Monday 23rd December.
Skaters will be able to take to the ice undercover in a decorated marquee with music and lights; designed to create that magical winter wonderland experience, day and night, whilst also protecting you from the elements.
Skating boots for both children and adults in a range of sizes are provided, but visitors are also free to bring their own!
The ice rink is now open and you can BOOK your 1 Hour Sessions in advance NOW – make sure you change the date at the top to select your Ice Rink sessions.
Please note, that if the Met Office issues any weather warnings regarding high-speed winds, the ice rink may need to close. For more up-to-date information, check out our social media page.
The ice rink is open from December 13th to January 5th.
It is open to the public on the following dates and times:
December 13th 4pm to 8pm (last session is 7pm to 8pm)
December 14th and 15th, 11am to 8pm (last session is 7pm to 8pm)
December 19th and 20th, 4pm to 8pm (last session is 7pm to 8pm)
December 21st and 22nd CLOSED due to high wind speeds
It then open to the public from December 23rd to January 5th, from 11am to 8pm (last session 7pm to 8pm).
Every Sunday sessions from 11am to 12noon are quiet hour. No music or flashing lights.
Christmas Eve opening times are 9am to 9pm.
School, Larger Group and Corporate bookings for private hire are also available. These can be booked online using the link above and are available on the below dates.

The exclusive use hire dates are: December 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th. These dates are not available to the public.

- General Park admission – FREE
- Skating – £14
- Families (2 adults, 2 kids (Ages 3-13)) – £48
- Exclusive Use: Schools, Groups & Corporate – £399 for a 1 hour, Pre-Booked Session for up to 40 people, skate aids included (enquire using the email address above)
- Skating Aids – £5 (issued on a first-come, first-served basis)
All prices include skate hire.
All Ice Skating sessions begin on the hour promptly to allow time for ‘check-in’ and getting on your boots, so please try to arrive 15 minutes before your session start time, on ice time runs from quarter past the hour for 45 minutes.

The Christmas fun doesn’t just stop at the ice rink though, this season Ocean Beach features:

- A range of seasonally themed food and drinks, both hot and cold, will be available from our kiosks.
- Seasonal decorations will also provide a perfect photo and selfie opportunity for everyone making memories this winter.
